General Rules
- The competition is open to all undergraduate and graduate students.
- A team may consist of up to 3 members.
- A person may not register for more than one team.
- Each team must have its own soccer bot and controller. Teams sharing the same soccer bot will be disqualified immediately.
- The event will be held over two days. A detailed schedule will be published later.
- Match configurations:
- Each match will be 15 minutes long, divided into two halves of 7 minutes each, with a 1-minute break in between.
- Each team will have a 10-minute break between competition rounds.
- Teams may only touch their bot during break times.
- Opposing teams for the first matches will be selected through a lottery.
- Teams must follow all rules and regulations outlined in this rulebook.
- The organizers retain the right to modify the rules if deemed necessary. Decisions made by the organizing committee are final.
- If one team from a fixture match and another team from another fixture match do not arrive at the allotted time, the match will be conducted between the remaining two teams.
- If a bot exceeds the weight limit, 5 points will be deducted from the total points.
- Teams are allowed and encouraged to design and stick their team logos on their bot.
Soccer Bot Specifications
- Bots must be controlled by wireless communication methods such as Bluetooth. Wired control is not allowed. Teams are responsible for sorting out communication channels.
- The use of any kind of jamming device is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate disqualification.
- Bots must have an onboard power supply of no more than 24 volts. No wired or external power supply is allowed.
- The use of ready-made chassis (e.g., toy cars) is prohibited. DIY (Do It Yourself) bots are highly encouraged.
- Bot dimensions:
- Maximum Length: 30 cm (including bracket)
- Maximum Width: 25 cm
- Maximum Height: 25 cm
- Maximum Weight: 2.5 kg
