General Rules

  1. The competition is open to all undergraduate and graduate students.
  2. A team may consist of up to 3 members.
  3. A person may not register for more than one team.
  4. Each team must have its own soccer bot and controller. Teams sharing the same soccer bot will be disqualified immediately.
  5. The event will be held over two days. A detailed schedule will be published later.
  6. Match configurations:
  7. Opposing teams for the first matches will be selected through a lottery.
  8. Teams must follow all rules and regulations outlined in this rulebook.
  9. The organizers retain the right to modify the rules if deemed necessary. Decisions made by the organizing committee are final.
  10. If one team from a fixture match and another team from another fixture match do not arrive at the allotted time, the match will be conducted between the remaining two teams.
  11. If a bot exceeds the weight limit, 5 points will be deducted from the total points.
  12. Teams are allowed and encouraged to design and stick their team logos on their bot.

Soccer Bot Specifications

  1. Bots must be controlled by wireless communication methods such as Bluetooth. Wired control is not allowed. Teams are responsible for sorting out communication channels.
  2. The use of any kind of jamming device is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate disqualification.
  3. Bots must have an onboard power supply of no more than 24 volts. No wired or external power supply is allowed.
  4. The use of ready-made chassis (e.g., toy cars) is prohibited. DIY (Do It Yourself) bots are highly encouraged.
  5. Bot dimensions:
